I’m Back
Welcome back. Today I will be telling you about this terms PBL. So far we have started to talk about discrimination. We have talked about sexism and different religions. Our driving question is how can we speak up, and our sub questions are What does it mean to speak up? What does an up stander do? What are stereotypes or bias? What are the different types of discrimination?
This morning all the boys got to sit on chairs and the girls didn't, we had to sit on the ground when the boys sat on the chairs, that made me feel annoyed because they got to sit on the chairs just because they were boys. But after the teachers said the girls could go out to morning tea 5 minutes early, then I felt happy but it didn't seem right because we did nothing to deserve it.
Later on we learnt about different religions, we had to choose a religion and find out facts about that religion.
In the afternoon we had to start planning for my art, my slogan is Love is stronger than hate.
How can you stop discrimination?
