PBL Term 3

Welcome back. Today I will be telling you about PBL, this term we have a new PBL driving question it is, What will the future ask of us? In class we have been talking about what the biggest problems in our world are, we came up with lots of things like, Global warming,Over populating, politics, poverty and lots others. we discussed lots of stuff about what is going to happen and peoples opinions on what we talked about.

Then we learnt about the first robot civilian, called Sophia. she has meet lots of famous people and is the first robot to get a credit card, we watched a video of Sophia singing on the tonight show. (Link to the Video) here is a photo of Sophia

Diana Issac

Welcome back. Today I will be telling you about Diana Issac. Diana Issac is a retirement village. I went to Diana Issac on a Friday, I did baking for my group. We walked down to Diana Issac, once we got there we went inside and started to make he scones, after we had prepared the scones they went into the kitchen to get cooked. Once they were cooked we (the kids) went and served them out to all of the people, along with orange juice. After we had done all of the stuff we had to do and talked to everyone we started to walk back to school. We had so much fun.

PBL Reflection

Welcome back. Today I will be telling you about PBL. On Wednesday we went live and shared what we have been working on. Mia and I shared our podcast live. Over this term I have learnt so much about discrimination and what is this term. When we started to learn about Discrimination the teachers did stuff about sexism so when we learnt about that the would let the boys sit on the chairs but the girls would be able to go out early for break. Then we had to research a culture for religious discrimination. We had to talk about what we could do to make it easier for people with disability's. and we learnt about racism because they made all the people stand up with the eye colour blue. We did do others stuff to learn about it as well.
